Assisi Clumber Spaniels - Dedicated to Respectful Clumber Relationships
The Next Generation
In 2006, Rustle (AOM Ch. Shogun's Nonsuch Tradition!) was not yet 2 years old, but he made the cut at the CSCA National Specialty.  The youngest dog to do so at that show.

In 2007 at just over 3 years, Rustle made the cut at the CSCA National Specialty and went on to receive First Award of Merit.

In 2008, Rustle did not compete at the CSCA National Specialty.  Instead, his son, Ch. Nexus Dark Horse (call name SUBWAY!), competed in the Puppy Sweepstakes winning the Best Puppy in Show award. We are happy to have helped the Nexus Kennel achieve this goal, and share their happiness at the success of this young dog, who is loved and owned by Pam McCune and the Fankhauser's. Subway's page is the first to feature the offspring and the continued TRADITION! by Shogun, Nonsuch, Assisi and Nexus Kennels.

This litter produced not one but two handsome boys. Nexus Wayward Son (call name OWEN!) continues the TRADITION! of winning ways. He is owned and loved by Joan and Richard Lis and is being owner handled to his championship. OWEN! has already achieved the majors needed to be awarded the title of Champion and is working on obtaining the final few points needed. He is also going to work in Agility and will continue the versatility TRADITION! of the Nexus Kennels.

We are very pleased that Shirley and Jim Fankhauser recognized in Rustle the qualities that would mix with their lovely bitch, 2005 CSCA AOM Ch. Nexus' Githany, which would help do what every breeder wants to do -- improve the breed.  This is done by carefully selecting the best breeding stock available in order to produce a better Clumber Spaniel.

Our TRADITION! is helping to improve the Clumber Spaniel Breed!
